Lane is about the limelight. He'd much rather prefer CBS games against Alabama and College GameDay against A&M over Thursday night trips to Syracuse

Yeah, the Coastal is ripe for the taking with UNC up and down and VA Tech coach shopping. Miami is obviously a major recruiting area and it’s got a much bigger brand name than Ole Myth. Plus, the ACC has a strong TV contract, so he wouldn’t be taking a step back there.
I’m not saying he would definitely leave for Miami, but I think there are legit reasons he would consider it.
