I don't have the numbers, but I'd bet Baylor's wealth would surprise you.

and a stronger commitment to their football program.

Baylor just built a brand new state of the art stadium. This isn't the Baylor of 15 years ago, they committed to winning however possible.

The man has literally never left Texas. So, no. I wouldn't want him either.

Seven you are absolutely correct. There are some very very very deep pockets in north Texas who will make sure briles stays at Baylor. And the other thing to keep in mind is his son is being groomed to take over when art is done.

I've seen first hand some of the network he has working for him and it is shady as hell. There is a reason that freshman qb jumped from tech to Baylor and it wasn't the scenery in Waco.

Briles has a great deal there and the people that matter love him. Not only is he not interested we should not be interested in him.

Than LSU? I guess you didn't know the assistant money pool at LSU is almost twice that of FSU. Also our facilities are top 5 in the country.

You misunderstood. FSU has deeper pockets than Baylor. I disagree with the poster that thinks it would be easier to lure Jimbo from FSU, compared to trying to hire Briles from Baylor.

Don't be so sure about this.

He's a Texas guy to the core. He's been coaching for 35+ years and has never left the state. I doubt he'd do it now that he's 60.
