Really could be any day next week. It just depends on how high profile they want it to be. The bowls don't really start in earnest for almost 2 weeks. They could actually wait and do it on Christmas Day - there is a precedent for that.

He did a press conference from Miami on Christmas day when he left LSU... If he goes to Texas he won't care about your Sugar Bowl

Recruiting. You want to announce a guy like Saban as early as possible. Plus, his game manager has no shot at the Heisman.

Sure there was harsh feelings, Saban brought another NC to LSU. He's a great coach, and the the feelings you guys are about to have for him pales in comparison, as at least he's not going to another in conference rival on you.



Yeah, the general sense of outrage from Bama fans would be seismic if he went to Auburn or Tennessee.
