This guys is good.

So what if he is old. The days having guy be here 10-15 years are over.

He has ND in the convo every year. People forget how bad they can be.

He has recruited at a high level, is no Bs, has developed several QBs, and makes good hires (Freeman, Elko, etc)

Has developed several QBs?

Did I miss something?

To be clear, I’m not saying that his QB history is a reason to deny him the job… but we don’t have to make shite up and pretend they’re strengths of his

Because this board is full of reactionary derps with IQs in the 80s. Haven’t you been paying attention recently?

Not saying he is some guru, but his qbs have all been good or at the worst serviceable.

The job he did with Ian book and deshone kizer was good. Hell, look how bad Malik Zaire was without him.

Not really at ND other than Book. However, look back at his offenses at Cincy and before. He ran an up-tempo spread and his QBs had great numbers.

I’ve always wondered if he shifted styles to make the old guard at ND happy.

Kelly just seems like another one that has little to no truth to it. Pat Forde wrote that article, and he has zero in terms of sources at LSU. In fact if he did go to an LSU source looking for information, he was probably told some ridiculous BS.

Why would anyone talk to the one guy who has been actively trying to destroy our basketball program?

Post-Holtz, ND was pure shite.

At ND he's got 1 Natty appearance in the BCS era, 2 playoff appearances, and a possible 3rd appearance. This is with limitations on recruiting due to academic standards at ND.

At Cincy, 2 BCS appearances in 4 years.

At Central Michigan, progressively improved each of the 3 years.

Sexy hire? No. But he's pretty solid.

A trained giraffe could get a top 25 class at Notre Dame.

He would be an excellent hire.

I think the melt is more so that Woodward whiffed on Riley and had no backup. While there’s no way to know that yet, a Brian Kelly hire would confirm.

Most here are still holding onto the hope that Woodward moved on from Lincoln a long time ago, and his guy is coaching in a conference championship or the NFL.
