If Woodward thought Jimbo was the best coach when he hired him at A&M several years ago why wouldn’t he still think Jimbo is the best? Players follow coaches why not coaches following AD’s? The statements by Jimbo and wife are smokescreens. There is no way Jimbo’s wife likes living in College Station with the A&M cadet corps. As crazy and impractical as it sounds Jimbo is Woodward’s man.

Correct.
The only championships won since Jimbo went to A&M are from Saban, Dabo, and EdO. Well, Edo is out. You have to believe Saban probably is too. And that leaves Dabo as the only coach proven to be better than Jimbo since his A&M hire.
Woodward might have made an early run at Dabo, and is cool on him now. So why look to a lesser coach, if you can still get Jimbo?

I feel like this is the safe hire for Woody…..so he will definitely consider it.
