Why not Tubby?

First off, I want to say I never was a big Tubberville fan. But after looking back at what he has done at Auburn, I have begun to like him. Usually his teams play great on defense, run the ball, and they have some of the best fundamentals every year. Also, they rarely turn the ball over and commit very few penalties. Another plus is that he has a great record against top 10 teams and his teams play well on the road. Another good point is that he went 12-0 in the SEC 
Imagine what he could do here with all of the great players and with Louisiana being all to himself in recruiting. We probably will not get him, but it would be a good hire imo. Thoughts?

Tubby has a clause with 6 million reasons why. I would not be oppossed though.

ok sorry I didn't know that I was just posting my opinion on Tubby. I am deeply sorry I dont spend my whole day on here and I don't know everything that has been posted.

You forgot one thing about Tubberville. He always has very good special teams.
Anyway, if Miles does leave (and I hope he doesn't), I think Tubby would be great and although I have no proof, I believe he covets the LSU job. To Auburn's credit, locking him down with the 6 million was very smart.

Ijust heard on the Montgomery news that since TA&M filled their coaching slot, then Tubby will probably stay. They also mentioned the fact that since Nutt left Arky, then Arky might come a calling since the Tubbs is from that state. I honestly feel that all of this coaching crap about who might land up where is purely speculation.

i always said tubberville should be a candidate, but we don't know if les will leave, he hasn't been offered.
