Why is there no discussion about McIlwain?

Bama's offense was terrible before he took over as OC. Why is he not in any coaching conversation? Seriously, Malzahn for a promotion over this guy?

Alabama's total offense in 2007: Ranked #75, #7 in the SEC.
2009: #35, #4 in the SEC. There is huge improvement there. There is no way that Ingram wins the heisman with Applewhite as the OC. I just don't get all the hype around Malzahn.

bama had one phucking good game on O this year. he has the best WR in the country and can't seem to fit him in the game plan. that's why.
