Why is it that Ed O has grown as a HC since Ole Miss but Kiffin hasn't?

I see this all the time. I know people don't like kiffin but you have to think if anyone has grown as a HC coach, it's the guy who has spent a few years under Saban not the guy whose been under Miles.

Because O came in and salvaged the wreck that was USC that season after Kiffin shite the bed. All Kiffin's proven is that he can ride the curtails of greater men to success.

Coach O has admitted that he did not have near the back ground to be a HC in a major conference at that time in his life. He's stated that he "has grown" as a football coach since then & seriously felt he deserved the HC job at USCw. Kiffin may well have learned a lot of football under Saban, but he is still perceived as a clownish jerk as a person. Al Davis called him the biggest liar he had ever met.
