Why hasn’t Cincy announced a raise and extension for Fickell yet?

Maybe the same reason OU didn’t announce for Riley? The big schools to fire early actually did the work and secured their guy by mid-season?
I know Fickell is well known for loving the Midwest, but money talks and dare I say BR traffic > snowy roads

Too busy trying to win the national title.
New contract would probably be based on making playoff, winning a playoff game, winning national title.
