To be fair, he left a pretty good team in Oakland that ended up winning some games as well...and doing what Dungy couldn't do is a pretty big accomplishment.
this.
I'm not his biggest fan but you can't accuse him of winning with someone elses talent and not acknowledge what he left behind in Oakland. It can be argued he would have gotten to the Superbowl that year either way.

He took a last place Oakland team and in 4 years had 40 wins, including 2 NFC West Titles. He went to one NFC Championship, and was a tuck rule away from going to the AFC Championship in another. In 97, the year before Gruden, the Raiders were 4-12. In 2000, they finished 12-4. Let's also not forget what the Bucs gave up to get him, which had a nice hand in the Bucs demise. He had a hand in it, but won a Super Bowl, and built the team they played in the Super Bowl that year.
He may not be good in the college ranks, won't come to LSU, but the guy can flat out coach.

Because I watched him coach at the Raiders. He'd have more than 1 SB if the dumb-arse tuck rule wouldn't have allowed Brady to keep possession after Woodson caused the fumble.
He's an offensive coach who treated the NFL to the most well oiled passing game I've ever seen. Gannon was unreal in his system. Pretty much, he coached the worst run football team in the NFL up to being the best.
What?

He came in to Tampa Bay and won a Super Bowl his first year with Tony Dungy's LOADED team, and then proceeded to run the Buccaneers franchise into the ground and was fired.
Do you happen to remember who they beat in the superbowl (a team that would have also been in the superbowl the year before if not for one of the most obscure and controversial officials rulings in the history of football)??????????????????????????
Do you happen to remember who built that team up (hint: it wasn't tony Dungy)???????????????????????
I'm not saying I want Chucky or that he would be good on the college level but your post is retarded.....
