These freakers don't know more than you. Wait until it's official before you get too emotional.

That's Chicken shite. If we fail, it's on Alleva. This is really his job. His most important job. Get it done.

I truly believe a competent AD would pull either Jimbo or Herman to LSU this year with the same circumstances.

If Herman goes to Texas and Fisher stays in TallaNasty, I'd hope Alleva goes after Fuente. I'd forgive him his sins if that was the hire.

Because the same a-hole that trolled the board last year has come back to repeat his pied piper act for all the dipshit on this board again

Purely circumstantial, but I think the Arranda/Herman condition makes sense. The LSU admin has clearly put out the message they want to keep Arranda at all costs. That seems like a tip of the hand. I'm not sure they'd publicize it if there weren't some reason for doing so. He'd probably quietly sign a contract making him the highest paid DC in CFB.

Also, F King mentioned his name specifically.

Joe Alleva better have Herman or Fisher at a presser on Monday or he better not show back up on campus. He needs to be on their lawn until the cops come over and remove him from their property. On his knees doing whatever that coach may require type of life or death deal making!

Yup. IF Herman wants to be at UT as bad as everyone seems to believe then Alleva can't do much about it.

Jimbo to LSU would be a slight bump at best and a lateral move at worst. It isn't like we're going for some hot assistant coach or promising HC from a G5 school. We're trying to pry away the coach from a highly regarded P5 school. Not saying it won't happen BUT the odds are stacked against us.

I would be happy with either, but if I'm betting then my money is on the field.

i would say gundy is a step above fedora and would probably be considered elite if he wasn't at okie lite.

i wouldn't be disappointed with gundy as hc.

Alleva hired Jimbo last year. Not his fault that Alexander didn't let it happen
