Who here would Be shocked if it’s Napier ?

I know Woodward’s MO.. Right now I’d bet on Franklin.. But was Jay Johnson “mo” hire ? He went off the path a little didn’t he ? I know many would say hell no, but I’m not sold on the vets like all the talked about candidates. I want young, offensive mind, Tactician at recruiting. He’s pretty damn proven imo offensively. ULL wasn’t n good shape but he immediately turned it around. And like I heard today it’s ran like a well oiled machine. Players like him, nothing gets out. Idk I think this could

Oh, do tell everyone why you would be "extremely disappointed". Because of ULL? no Power 5 head coaching experience? Clemson? These anti-Napier's are insufferable. None of the NDRs (Napier Derangement Syndrome) ever offer any legitimate reasons for not wanting to hire a coach who will be highly coveted after he finishes another very successful season at ULL. Napier is the one college coach most people who actually have credentials compare to a little-known coach named Nick Saban.

Not shocked but disappointed and disgusted. Considering the pool of possible candidates a Napier hiring would be absolutely deflating. This is not Tennessee.

I would be extremely shocked if it is napier. Anyone care to name the last LSU head coach that came from the sunbelt or that type of conference? Its curley hallman from southern miss. He was doing great at usm and had their best winning % in their history, coached brett farve, coached at alabama for 4 years under bear bryant, etc....well, look what happened. Its too big of a jump and too big of a gamble at a crucial time for our program. No way its napier.

I wouldn’t be shocked. It’s classic LSU to settle for a mid tier coach because everybody else said no.
