Crowton's performance as an OC has been nothing short of an unacceptable embarrassment for 3 straight years.
Miles should have fired him last year.
One good half of offense every 10 games does not cut it.

I just want someone who agrees with Les on offensive strategy (aka Pro-style)
Les is a Big 10 power I guy, not pro-style, though I admit "pro-style" is a pretty big tent.

Don't matter as long as we have JJ as qb.

I'd be fine with giving Billy Gonzales an interim year
This is the dumbest shite I have heard on this board. He has been a total failure.

Not everyone. Bad match for LSU. It will not happen.

He was, and they paid for it.
Borges isn't one of these guys that's gonna draw up some impressive scheme that's gonna drop 60 on folks (Malzahn, Holgorsen, Kelly etc.). But he teaches fundamentals and uses his athletes to make plays.
When you have athletes as good as we do, you don't really need much else.

I had a dream last night that Chicken opened up the Coaching Changes board.

Here's a name not often discussed here:
John Shoop enters his fourth season as North Carolina's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Shoop is in his 20th season as a coach, and has served as a coordinator on both the professional and college level.
Carolina players have flourished in Shoop's pro-style offense, including 2008 all-conference wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, who set 14 records at UNC and was drafted in the NFL first round last year. Quarterback T.J. Yates, an unknown commodity prior to the start of the 2007 season, is second all-time at UNC in passing yards, attempts, completions and completion percentage. Versatile athlete Greg Little has been a productive player at both wide receiver and tailback as Shoop always finds ways to get the ball to the team's top playmakers.

I would be very excited if John Shoop was hired here.

The only way we improve with a new OC is if the OC puts his foot down with Miles on play calling and who plays QB. With Jefferson you could make Sean Peyton, Chip Kelley, or Malazahn our OC and it would not help. You either can read a defense and throw accurate or you can't. Maybe they could fix his release, but that is it.

agree 100%
i think its a combo of both JJ and Crowton but I dont think any OC would be successfull with JJ at QB...
