Say what you want about Dabo but he'd absolutely KILL IT recruiting La and surrounding areas.

Venables has had multiple opportunities to become a head coach and he hasn’t done it yet. His name gets thrown around but it never gains any traction, and I believe it’s because he’s comfortable earning a good salary coaching one side of the ball and not having to be a figurehead. If he hasn’t done it yet, he’s not going to.
