What's the deal with Sumlin and UT?

On ESPN Radio they spent ten minutes talking about Dooley (this was about 2:30 eastern) and then when it went to Sportscenter the Dooley hiring was qualified by them saying Sumlin was still in it.

Dooley is now in Knoxville...
Espn changed it to include Sumlin, then changed it back to Dooley....

Some are saying that Dooley is being asked/required to retain Kiffen's leftover assistants and that's mucking up getting it finalized. The same person who lives in Knoxville says that was the dealbreaker with Cutcliffe

I doubt Sumlin would agree to the same thing.
