What gives me hope

Is if the reports are true that Woodward knew along time ago that Riley was never coming to LSU then we must be hiring somebody pretty damn good. Why would Woodward allow this Riley frenzy go on for the past two weeks if the coach he was getting wasn’t on the same level as Riley or better.

If he had a coach, why wouldn’t he come out and say it? Just something as simple as we have our guy and we’ll announce it when it’s appropriate for all parties?
