What about considering the other men in CLM's wedding party also?

Are any of them a coach? Did any of them get a special badge to watch the 2007 BCSNCG from the sidelines? Are their coaching seasons over also? Are they also worried as hell they will fall victim to CBA-NFL issues? Are any of them also wanting long-time tenure that CLM can offer now that CLM has a 7 year deal?

Add em to the list.

In other words, the speculation seems ridiculous.

But, if it is true, that would/will be great, and we'd all love Cam (or most of us anyway).

In the mean time, and in the real world, get ready for Fuente to be our man by the end of the upcoming week, that way he can be on campus for the big recruiting weekend next weekend.

I think that the coaches will still be paid if there is a lockout. They are considered management and only union members would be locked ut.

Most have lockout provisions in their contract that decrease the amount of salary paid as the lockout progresses.

So they get paid for less work with somwewhat less of a paycheck as the lockout continues? ok, so would that be so bad and be less that working full time for a little different money?

probably a wash whn you factor in time-and-money considerations,e tc...

The only way that Cam Cameron would come to LSU is if he, for some reason, wants to get back into the college game. If he wanted to do that, then going to LSU for a couple of years would set him up for what he wants to do.

Nothing else would push him to LSU...not his relationship with Miles, not the looming NFL lockout, not a bad relationship with Harbaugh at Baltimore, not even if he's fired. He's a guy who would always have a job in the NFL if he wants one.
