We need more than just a Playcaller, we need an Offensive Identity

Lots of posts about young hot shot play callers, but unless Orgeron allows the OC to have full control of the offense it will not matter who is calling the plays. Nothing changes. This is EXACTLY what happened with Canada. Orgeron didn't like or trust Canada's system enough to give him full control.
Part of this is allowing the OC to have some say on offensive staff hires.

Yes nothing will change unless these guy have full Autonomy of their system.

This is also why the O hire was so fricking stupid. It didn't fix the major problem we had under Les. We needed to hire a head coach with a proven offensive system. We didn't.
