Probably one of the least surprising reports. It’s been said since day 1 that the man is most comfortable in that region. He’s got fricking Cincinnati as a top 10 school in the country. He’ll have his pick when he’s ready

Just the first school to pop into my head. Fickell doesn't seem like the type to leave the general Great Lakes area. Sort of like Brian Kelly.

Penn State is going to pay Franklin more than Day? Tucker with his new extension?

If PSU does that, they're dumber than chit. Franklin is not worth it.

Hmm interesting. Here’s a fun fact; LA county is big time Democrat area, as most people know, but OC is big time Republican. So, depending on ones preference, there are a plethora of options to say the least.

Unless they are on the BOT, I don't trust anything anyone says about the USC search. Usually the admin leaks like a sieve, but this search has been extremely tight. I wouldn't doubt anything. That being said, Fickell always seems highly unlikely and didn't make a ton of sense outside of Bohn having hired him at Cincy.

Midwest is a geographical region that contains Ohio. In colonial days Ohio was considered "the West".

Agreed. I too don’t believe he was even contacted to begin with. Talk about a bad fit.

This.^^^^^

Luke has Cincinnati playing for National championship.

He probably doesn’t want any distraction.

Cincinnati has a chance to make history.

Word out her is Aranda is their choice as long as LSU does not offer. His brother coaches HS basketball out here and his entire family live about an hour east of LA (Redlands CA).

Yep! I can easily see Dave choosing SC over LSU. I think he would have a solid chance of turning around that program.

Of course, it’s easy to turn down LSU if they never even offered him to begin with.

Or he's accepted another job down south already, and is hovering under the smoke until it's public.
