From this season alone, Fisher will be considered. I think I saw that the Orlando Sentinel was reporting it though I'm not sure who their sources are.

Bobby Burton isn't doing much to help bring down expectations down a bit

I

am told the four names to remember continue to be Jim Harbaugh, Urban Meyer, Jimbo Fisher and Gus Malzahn.

Great chance that Fisher is their guy if Saban and Meyer decline. If job is still open by Christmas, then safe to assume Saban and Meyer declined. Assuming no NFL guy bites, I think Fisher gets it.

i cannot see texas waiting until after the mnc to hire a coach...and even then i doubt fisher walks out on fsu w/ jameis coming back next year.

They need to make a home run hire. If it takes waiting a week or two it would be worth the wait.

I still believe.

So your sources now say it will be after dead period instead of today?

The Doc doesn't believe the bull shite he's selling. He's just trying to troll Bama fans. Most arent falling for his "sources" but a select few are. He keeps trolling because those select few feed his need for attention. Just ignore his posts and he will move on to something else.

Question. There was a firm order to not start rumors. Other's are deleted. Why is he exempt?

It's not really an if. All this stuff is public record.

Oh, in that case it's 2015 in Jerry World again. How prophetic of you.

I sure hope Miles doesn't hold LSU hostage. I'm tired of rising ticket prices with mediocre results at the end of the season.

Because there is no shot he is leaving his home unless it's for the nfl. He grew up there, his dad coached there, he went to school there, and he has young children. He will have a shot at bcs bowls and playoffs while living very well in one of the most desirable places to live (Bay area) in the country. Fans also view academics first at stanford and aren't myopic like big programs in the south.

From what I'm hearing, he has declined. He's a Stanford/west coast guy who would probably only leave for a NFL opportunity one day.
