Best case is Terry Bowden is the Rickey Bustle of ULM. Fix a lot of the problems within the program, bring in some more talent, and get it ready for the next guy. Unfortunately for ULM, they don't have money and their alumni base doesn't seem to care.

ULM made the huge mistake of leaving DII sports years ago. They were winning and packed their 24k stadium every Saturday. The lure of big money and taking a beating by the Big Boys ruined it. ULM refuses to come off any money to bring in a good coach and continues to hire “has been a” or “never will be” coaches. They get what they ask for.
They also suck at recruiting local talent in their back yard that would put asses in the stands and W’s in the win column.
