UCLA looked good vs Oregon despite losing

UCLA almost came back and won after falling behind a couple TD’s, If the Riley deal falls apart, Woodward might be looking at Chip Kelly. I noticed one TD insider hasn’t removed his name from Woodward’s lis, also Ryan Day and Jimbo Fisher. Hopefully the deal with Riley gets worked out, just reminding everyone what names are still available.

Chip could have come to the sec and taken the Florida job 4 years ago. LSU pressure cooker and SEC recruiting are not for him.

I do not want Chip Kelly, period. In each of our 3 biggest losses we’ve looked very bad. Chip looked good because he has a very experienced team and experienced coordinators.
Guys, the one common denominator between the UCLA, UK, & Ole Miss losses is this. All three of these teams were playing with many Seniors who had been in their programs with the same head coaches & coordinators for more than one year.
Go count the # of seniors on LSU that are starting vs all 3 of these teams. UK had 8 seniors (some 5th year) starting on defense alone. Wanna know why we couldn’t run on them. That’s one of reasons.
Add to that LSU having 1st year coordinators on both sides of the ball and underclassmen and it’s not gonna look good.

Oregon spotted UCLA 14 points, then outscored them 34-3. They got bored at the end, but UCLA did not look good. No points for a home conference loss.
Embarrassing LSU lost to UCLA by double digits. But, based on Saturday, Orgeron has perfected the art of losing to teams wearing sissy blue shirts.
