I've been in Chicago for two days so let me get this straight:

Tubby has agreed in principle to two contracts with two different SEC schools?

And this is all being done without premission from Auburn?

This means Tubby slides out of Auburn without saying shite to the administration, his assistant coaches and his players?

I would guess that means the UArk admins are beginning to think the Fayetteville flirtation is strictly a bargaining chip and not real interest.

A few comments from different places I've seen (I read it off the AL.com boards but it supposedly came from another site), again, grain of salt and for whatever rumor is worth:

“I want everybody, not just our administration but also our fans, to understand we are at a point and if we are going to get to another point we can’t keep on as is. You have got to make changes, facilities. You have got to have a plan. A plan has to be intact,” said Tuberville.

***It should be pointed out that Auburn has facility plans intact that already included nearly $5 million to renovate the locker rooms, assistant coach offices and add additional office space to the athletic department in the coming months. AU just completed over $30 million in renovations of Jordan-Hare Stadium the last three years and is investing $92.5 million into a new basketball arena.

Apparently after that post, it was revealed a new AU contract was in Tuberville's office. Two years added to current contract and $200k yearly raises were all that were mentioned in the report on the contract offer. Possibly more that wasn't release, I have no idea.

So he is using Arky to milk the cow!
