to me .. you can use that line if you have been basically doing the same thing for 20 years like songy and ott have .. you don't throw that shite out there when your 20 years includes 37 different radio, tv, and internet failed ventures, denham springs high school girls basketball play-by-play, a failed, mysterious one-year stint as football PBP for SLU, an inebriated television show, along with a front row seat on john fine and jimmy ott's coat tails ..

Feinswog got off to an inauspicious start with Sports Monday years ago .. i always thought he was THE best sportswriter ever in BR .. but over the years, the show has grown on me ... nothing but respect for Lee off the air too .. a great Dad and family man ..

he is goofy .. but that guy can flat out write his arse off and has great connections ... i have always considered him top tier in broadcasting here in BR on TV and radio ..

remember the beginning of Sports Monday, like in 1996, when he would get crank called a few times every week. that was me and my friends. we get together at Tiger Plaza, get drunk, and watch the show and crank call. we would sometimes get him back to back b/c the cordless phone from my apt would work in my friends apt next door. i know, :csb:

scone is good on the air .. but he has resources and marketing that no other sports talk host has EVER had in BR .. he has a producer that lines up his guests and hands him his show on a platter .. he has all the current technology available on the air to keep him from ever having to say "i don't know" .. doesn't have to sell advertising 8 hours a day while trying to produce and do his own show .. etc. .. it is more about what is around scona than it is about him as a talent ..

well that was just a smart move by guaranty, get someone with talent and prop him up with great support.
