Saban is too old to go somewhere that it will take 2-3years just to be competitive again.

What? He'd bring his deer antler spray and have UT beating the Browns next year.

nailed it - they have #4's and 5's warming the bench - Strong not a good coach.

Bama was a rebuild job, but
In his 2nd year, Saban had Bama losing 1 game. He would do the same at UT.

Saban didn't take the UT job due to a rebuild job. Saban didn't want to deal with their boosters and the administration at UT.

Saban could control what took place on the FB field. That's a walk in the park.

UT boosters make REC look like daddy day care.

Texas' defense is bad. Really bad. They can't cover WR's and they can't tackle. They give up 40 points a game or some crazy number. They are young and probably have trouble with Strongs complex defense but they shouldn't be that bad. They are talented. Strong is a very good defensive coach. Something has to be very wrong.

I think Saban would have them competitive in year two at the absolute latest. IF not, year one.

More importantly for this Texas is he would turn things around for the future. He may not have enough years left to build a dynasty there as well, but he does have enough to help them and set them up moving forward for years.

They'd be dumb as shite not to throw the house at him
