I think sowder would be an excellent hire. He comes from the art briles tree

Also love the veer and shoot.

Probably my favorite offense to watch. Remember I did a Baylor deep dive on YouTube one summer. Found All 22 cuts, all that good stuff

What I don’t understand is why everyone is so in love with Munoz. Been a coordinator before. Wasn’t good at it.

Aranda took him with him to Baylor as PGC and immediately cut bait with him after one season.

I’d take him as an analyst but I definitely don’t want him as PGC or god forbid OC

God forbid we think outside the box and consider actual results on the field instead of going after a name.

Other than the cult of Calloway, whatcha got?

Over Harrell? Anyone who runs the Air Raid who has progressed beyond Leach. Lebby. Briles. There are more out there. I also have no doubt a younger guy like Callaway would do what he’s told by the head coach as far as running a more balanced offense. If we didn’t throw the current system out, the foundation for 2019 is there to improve the gun game in more creative hands.

I’m all for the Air Raid, but someone who isn’t going to improve our run game over this year should be an absolute no. Period. If Harrell’s offense can move the ball on the ground in the PAC 12, then he isn’t that guy.

Everyone should watch this. It is a recipe for disaster in the SEC. Also, this makes me want Urban even more as our next HC.

Yes, I was not impressed by Harrell in that video. He seemed to be saying his scheme ignores coverages but the execution between QB and WR will be so good it won't matter. That's a lot different than LSU 2019 where we had a scheme AND execution that was effective against all of the best teams in football.

No thank you. That won't beat Bama, Clemson and Ohio State.

Honestly, I don't think the offensive scheme was in need of an overhaul. Brennan was putting up great stats but there wasn't consistency. Then he got hurt before being in there long enough to be consistent. Then we had to play true FR and Finley eventually struggled. Max came in and looked like he would be in position to be really good next year. I don't think LSU should change to Air Raid or to a Gus-style power spread.

I don't know who that leaves us with.

That would be accurate, back to average never a contender.
