Fisher runs the offense

Played for him two years at one of his other stops. Was a great coach. Haven’t really stayed in touch with him throughout the years. I’m sure he is getting up in age. Did coach at Lsu for I season I believe.

Jimbo's scheme and play calling. Jimbo said Dickey pretty much is there to offer his opinion along with the rest of the offensive coaching staff.
Honestly think it's a little bit of a waste because IIRC Memphis had an incredible offense when Dickey was the OC before he came to A&M.

You guys happy with Fisher’s playcalling?

I think his play calling is good, but I think his offense is outdated.
What we've seen across college football in the last 5-6 years or so are offenses that somewhat rely on their incredibly talented skill position players to win their 1 on 1 matchups. Guys like Ja'Marr Chase and DeVonta Smith.
Jimbo's offense doesn't work like that. His offense tries to scheme guys open and take what the defense gives you. That's why we use a ton of TE and RB in our passing game. It also takes a really good QB to make it work. Instead of the QB reading which guy has a step, he's asking his QB to time his reads so he's reading the right guy during the right window depending on what the defense is giving you. Here's an example of the difference; Bryce Young can line up, see that we're playing in man coverage and know that Metchie will be 1 on 1, before the play has started he's already decided that he's going to throw that 50/50 ball, and with skill players as talented as Alabama's, thats going to work a lot of the time. Jimbo will take a shot here and there but will never run a play like where that guy is your only read before a checkdown.

You probably shouldn’t waste your brain cells on this.

Are you retarded? Just wondering because you sound like it.

I just hope he's right. Jimbo has not sustained any success. His career has been no better than Les Miles' or Ed Orgeron's. Hope like hell he stays at A&M!
