Thoughts on Dennis "Meatball" Johnson?

Meant to post this a while back when it looked like LSU "only" needed a DL coach.
What's the general feeling on him as both DL coach and recruiter? Obviously he's an O protege, and O had his hand in both DL coaching and recruiting
From his time at LSU as a recruiter, he got a few notable guys as primary recruiter (per 247 LINK). Guys like Ojulari, Marcel Brooks, Chaisson, Trey Palmer, Dare.
Not sure what to make of his time at Baylor (aside from I imagine he snagged Apu Ika in the portal), as it can be inferred from the "Aranda's staying" news that Baylor wasn't really in the NIL business to compete with the big boys. You'd hope at the least he's made some connections in Texas that could help if he "came home".
Baylor fans, feel free to chime in.

Would be a good hire but unless he has a connection with the coordinator I don't see it happening. Not enough experience.
