Most of the best coaches today were not "big names" in their previous jobs.
Pulling a big name coach isnt necessarily a recipe for success.

yeah and its a tough spot to be in, do you gamble and go for more and risk losing good seasons? Nebraska fired Pelini when he was winning 9 or 10 a year and still havent really gotten back up there.
