They had a plan A,B,&C. Jimbo, Herman, Orgeron. First 2 played us for more money and now we're stuck with C. Pretty fricked up but that's where we're at.

ESPN ticker just said LSU wanted Herman but Herman's camp was waiting to see whether or not Texas fires Charlie Strong and LSU wasnt willing to wait.

Why the frick wasn't Alleva willing to wait? Not like any other schools were lining up to interview Orgeron and we were in danger of losing him to someone else while we waited an extra day to wait on Herman

Because Herman to Texas is the worst kept secret on Earth. Worlds been saying it for 2 years now. 3 7 loss seasons in a row. He can't survive that. Texas is dancing right now. Herman has lost leverage unless Oregon gets involved.
