Pelini is only good when he has elite talent to work with. At Nebraska (with mediocre talent), you saw the results.

I personally think Miles wants it. It's his dream situation. I think it's a win win for all parties.

I could see that happening with him Taking Cameron with him. Entire staff would be complete already. Don't think he passes up a second opportunity to go home when the SEC has become too tough for him. He can start over and buy some more time in a conference that has less competition. Although Meyer can get QBs to produce whether they are redshirt freshman or seniors..LOL

I think people overlook one GLARING question: Is Miles at Michigan the same as Miles at LSU?

For ten years the knock on Miles is that he is an average coach and a great recruiter. What happens if he can't recruit as well at Michigan as he has at LSU? There is a reason the SEC is the dominant college football conference. It's not because they "cheat", or pay their coaches more, or that the fans care more. It's because the highest concentration of great football talent is located in the southeast. Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, South/North Carolina, Georgia all produce a ton of talent. LSU's team is primarily made up of players from LA, TX, FL, GA. Can Miles get as many of those guys at Michigan as he has at LSU? I doubt it. It's much easier to convince a kid from TX or LA to come to LSU than it is to leave his family and travel hundred of miles to Michigan.

Miles has been great at LSU. But make no mistake, LSU (and where it is located geographically) has been just as great for Miles. There was a reason Nick Saban left a pretty good gig as Mich. St to come to a program that had only had 3 winning seasons in 10 years. He knew the great players were down here.
