the reason we have not heard of a LB coach to replace peveto

Is because maybe chavis really is our d coordinator?? 
and he coaches LB's.
although of course miles might just be waiting for mallory to be announced also.

That may bbe true, but we have been hearing about Willis, the recently released linebackers coach at Auburn.

I think the fans are saying that more then anything.
BP has said nothing about a linebacker coach.

I think Willis would be a great hire, but honestly, if he is so well thought of, wouldn't Rhodes take him to ISU with him and offer a DC position or something? Or is Rhodes the reason Willis is so highly thought of by fans?

If Rhoads doesn't bring Willis with him to ISU in any capacity (LB coach or DC), I don't think it necessarily reflects how Rhoads thinks about him. They only worked together one year. Willis seems to be more of a Tubby protege.

BP said he hadn't heard one DB coach's name pop up yet, which points to Walker.
Just saying, that there is smoke about a LBer coach, but nothing about a DB coach if you want to make that leap in logic.
