The only thing that troubles me: the timing of Miles' departure.

LSU can certainly find a highly qualified coach to hire.

We can replace Les Miles, assuming the Athletic Director does his job.

We cannot replace Collins, Hill, Hilliard, Beckham, Landry, Mettenberger, etc. Effectively losing a premiere recruiting class would have long term ramifications for the program. Not only will we have to fend off other suitors from the SEC, I am concerned Miles might attempt to coax some of our current commits to Michigan.

The timing is horrendous.

If he takes one recruit it would be a long shot.

This would be the worst possible time to leave. 3 weeks 'til signing day. Saban announced on christmas. Skip shoulda not let him coach the bowl game.

Having a replacement immediately would be crucial. Within a day or two. My guess is if Les is talking to UM, LSU is talking to others.

I agree, LSU more than likely has been talking to others.
