A writer puts out content attributed to sources/sauces that a coach is leaving one job for another. Clicks.
Coach refutes the story. Clicks.
The original writer puts out a story that negotiations hit a snag. Clicks.
Reports on actual hire. Clicks.
They get revenue from all of the clicks as the only repercussion for yanking chains.
