I'm more talking about temporary, hes to old to be long term, but the staff as it is now has great recruiters and the Chief would be a great face for LSU, In other words hes well liked and respected in the media and coaching circles

So this recruiting class hinges on Chavis? What makes you think any recruit has even met Chavis? What kind of ammo would Nick, Will, or Gene have against us if we did that? We would lose our entire class. This late in the game the majority of the class will remain intact as long as we don't pull a dipshit hire. ie Chavis.

He might supprise and win a NC his first year. This is a crap shoot at this point and I like our chances with the current staff as opposed to a totally new one.
