Figured after all the hoopla they'd want to keep things VERY tight moving forward?
If the incompetence was not so obvious, I would be thinking internal sabotage at this point. It's unbelievable.

The funny thing about that is they did it right with Schiano and kept it air tight, yet everyone was pissed that the public didn't know until the very end. At this point, there are probably competing factions and/or Currie is floating smokescreens and trial balloons.

I would imagine there is some desire to get public opinion prior to making a decision. It should not be that way but the ridiculousness of the last attempt to sign a contract is likely influencing this.

Currie spent 2 months LARPing as James Bond only to try and deliver us Schiano. I don’t think he is allowed to keep anything secret at this point.

They need an AD who can zero in on a candidate who truly wants the job.
