Maybe A&M doesnt appreciate his coaching and recruiting but Arizona State looks like they do.
Sumlin is the candidate for the Arizona State job.
They just fired a coach coming off a 7 win season and a coach who has won 46 games at Arizona State including 2 10 win seasons.

A PAC 12 or Big 12 school is a fit for a guy who runs an Air Raid derivative offense and little defense.

Kevin Sumlin runs more of a Joe Tiller style offense.
The basketball on grass.
He mixed the Purdue Spread with the Air Raid at Oklahoma and then at Houston.
A&M's defense was around 40th in the country for Yards per play. Not great and not horrible:
Everyone runs a variation of the spread or almost everyone.
