Since Spurrier will be the next LSU head coach (fear the visor) and Pellini will be leaving for Nebraska (thank God), LSU may as well offer Saban the defensive coordinator position. He is dying to return to the promiseland of Baton Rouge (even for $200K) and ride the magic carpet with Spurrier at the helm!! This would be a unstoppable combo, especially since we don't have ULM on our home schedule next year...

Saban should feel honored to be asked to be DC at LSU after living in Tuscaloser for a year. I think we should only offer him 150K though.

Maybe LSU will name him Def Coord in time for the bowl game so he can scheme a master plan to stop the RAINBOW passing attack!
