The fact that they hugged at the end of their meeting leads me to believe the parting of ways less bitter than we think.

With the talent we have, GC has had years to put it to gear.. he has failed to do so. We're a championship caliber team. We need a championship caliber play-caller!

Neither one had reason to be bitter from anything I know bout.
Miles and LSU gave GC a BCS championship ring, big bucks, and added to a resume which got him another 3 year deal at more big bucks.
GC helped LSU and Miles earn a NC and 40 wins.
Seems like both sides did pretty good on the whole.
It just didn't work out what for whatever reason and both sides move on to hopefully bigger and better.
It's just another example of Miles taking care of his own the best he can and another reason I like how the man handles his business more times than not.
