Probably bc he does want it. It’s a hell of a retirement package for someone like him. He’s never made the kind of money LSU pays coordinators. I think the rant has taken a couple quotes from last year about him not wanting a little too literal and everyone assumes that 1) that was the truth last year and 2) he couldn’t have possibly changed his mind.

As I recall, O said that O had to convince Ensminger last year bc Ensminger didn't want the OC job. Key word, being last year.
