That would be an emotional hire. You don't hire a coach based on the end of a season after a coach got fired and a team riding a wave of emotions. That happens all the time and many teams shite the bed on their hires, LSU cannot Miss on this hire

Well, he'll win out. Then maybe he'll get an opportunity to interview after the next head coach hired for a position on the staff.
