Our AD did your HC a solid and got him a big raise. That's it. Nothing to see here. If we are going to pay 5.5 per it damn sure wouldn't be to a grass munching philosopher let alone the 3rd best (prob 4th best now) coach in our own conference. We've had enough rAtards as head coaches.
I think the only excitement you saw was AR fans reaction to LSU fans actions to the notion the Les was coming to AR. Trust me when I say that no one wants your coach, and when I say no one, you can read the message boards and more than half of your own fans were calling for his head.
It was very comical. Troll job of the decade for sure. I'm sure the LSU admins will Jeff Long on the top of their list.

I didn't see one hog fan that wanted him. Didn't talk to one hog fan that wanted him. I did see a lot of "I'll burn my hog gear if that neanderthal is our coach." Saw a lot of that. Seriously.
My honest reaction was:
1) There's no way this is real.
2) There's no way I want him coaching the hogs.
3) Well, if it is true, it would at least be funny to see the LSU fans reactions. It might be worth having to fire him in 4 years and do another search.

So if Les Miles went to Arkansas and put up nearly the same winning percentage and got the same results he would be fired in 4 years?

No, because Les Miles isn't that good of a coach. He does well at LSU because he gets recruits dumped in his lap. Nutt would have performed similarly to Miles if he were at LSU. You actually have to recruit to Arkansas or be able to coach up the talent. Les Miles doesn't do either.

LSU is a much easier job to recruit to. OSU and AR are pretty similar in that regard. Les Miles didn't magically become a great coach once he got to LSU. He magically got better players.
