I shouldn't be surprised that this narrative was taken by many here with out a second thought.

It's the dumbest damn thing to ask or even answer and I dismissed the entire thread immediately when the poster said he asked Woodward directly.

How fricking stupid does it sound? "Hey Woodward, how many of them there minorities are on your list?" And to think that Woodward would actually answer with "oh boy don't you worry, there's only one on there" because that's what he said. He has a list of four and Woodward told him directly that only one is a minority.

IF someone was to actually ask that question, he would not give a direct answer. Like you actually expect the head guy on the nation's most watched coaching search is going to say to any random a-hole, "the Rooney rule? Yeah only meeting the minimum on that"
