i don't think so. If he goes back to the school that makes him the most happy and the one he never should have left the fallout might not be as bad.

he wanted to coach in college again and preferably lsu but the job just wasn't open at the time.

I know that Spurier has been in town twice since the loss on Friday. I got the info from a good TAF source. I know that Spurier has never said anything good about LSU until this year. I think he was positioning himself for LSU's job all year. It seems that with LSU out of the BCS champ game, Miles could be offered more money to go but less than what he would have made if he won the BCS champ game.

Media yes.

Recruits...nah. They want an education and/or be a part of a winning program and/or a ticket to the NFL.

Spurrier is interested and Saban is interested but it all depends on whether or not MI offers Les the job.

The decision will come from the board/ TAF - both coaches have connections.

it will be interesting to see if SS comes how he will mesh with Crowten.

well i'm convinced les and crowton are buddies and crowton goes with him to michigan. just a gut feeling

but if SOS is our HC, he's not gunna keep crowton

if we somehow got tubby? ok i could possibly see that

I'm pumped to see Michigan's QB running a spread option.

well if my gut is right, it makes miles look like such a better hire. UM knows they need to modernize, and one of the biggest drawbacks to les going there is he's a "michigan man." he can sell them on, "well i'm bringing the 21st centry here"

but yeah it may take a few years to fully take effect

mallet transfers to arky and throws for 5,000 yards in 2009

You people like to claim Bama is delusional. and you're not, yeah right.

1. Saban's arse is bought and paid for.
2. If he left bama after 11 months, there is not a recruit in the country he could talk into playing for him.
3. He makes $4 mill and LSU ain't gonna pay that.
4. He's at the one place that can get the type of talent to allow him to build a dynasty.
