It's a good quality to have, but I have a feeling that Scott Frost's loyalty is going to end up biting him in the arse a few times during his coaching career.

Already has a 4-star dual threat QB from CA visiting right now... current Tennessee commit Adrian Martinez. Nebraska has landed the #1 QB from CA 2 years in a row... this is CA's #1 dual threat QB this year. Seemed very excited about the possibility of playing in Frost's system.

I believe Frost has 14 OVs already scheduled, including some going on right now.

Much easier to convince 18 yr old kids to go to Orlando than Lincoln. Hope Frost’s offense works with corn fed boys

So Frost is taking all their coaches and STILL trying to coach their bowl game. Terrible move for all involved. Those kids aren't gonna listen to any of those coaches. Why would they?

You people act as if no one outside of Nebraska goes to Nebraska. Their top WR this past season went to St. Aug. They've landed the top QB out of CA the past 2 years. They have guys from Missouri, Florida, New Jersey, Louisiana, pretty much all over. Recruiting outside of the state has never been an issue. The COACHING is what has been the issue.

UCF players are self aware. They know where they play & how insignificant they are, nationally.
They bought in to their coach. Their coach & staff are sticking by them to finish the job. That's a culture that Frost instilled his entire time in Orlando.

You really have to laugh at these posters.

A recruiting base is not some magical list you have to restart every time a coaching staff turns over. Office staffers don't leave college athletic departments. There are decades of recruiting info on local/regional/national high school programs complete with records, film, contact info, contact logs, etc.
It's plug & play. No HS coach is going to roadblock a coach from Nebraska coming in to recruit.

It's pretty funny. Only 2 kids in their current recruiting class are from Nebraska.

Louisiana had snow before lincoln this year, but hey no one wants to go there because it's cold.

UCF should be pissed about that if they are trying to poach recruits. Ad should shite can some people

I was going to be a smart arse and say that C Florida recruits aren't worth taking, but 14 3star recruits is alot better than what I thought they had. Props to that staff.

This sounds great on paper. It just almost never works out that way.

Frost is currently in Orlando coaching UCF for their bowl game. Last night he flew to meet with Tennessee dual-threat QB commit Adrian Martinez and flipped him.

Martinez is the FOURTH player to commit to the Cornhuskers since Frost became coach. Not too shabby.

What exactly do you mean when you say, “Nebraska’s days are over”? I don’t think anyone in their right mind is expecting them to replicate the dominance they had in the 70s-80s-90s. However, winning their division and competing for the conference championship on a consistent basis are realistic goals.

Agree. Wisconsin isn't exactly covered in high school talent either, but they consistently win 10-11 games a year in their weak division. Nebraska should be able to win at a Wisconsin level. There is no reason for Kansas St, Iowa, and Wisconsin to be better than Nebraska over the last decade.
