That would be good for Texas, IMO

Tim Brando also tweeting that he heard Sark turned it down
Tim Brando is just retweeting David Pollack. Funny how when multiple sources hear stuff it always come back to the same guy who was just making stuff up.

Would be dumb of him

A coach has to have autonomy and Texas is anything but that.
The right coach would have autonomy. Mac Brown had the boosters eating out of the palm of his hands until he decided he didn’t want to recruit anymore.
Mack controlled the boosters by charming them. It can be done.

Or saban is retiring and told sark the bama job is his.

No he’s not. He retweeted him an hour ago and then chimed in about 10 minutes ago that he’s now hearing the same thing Pollack is.

Maybe, or he could be jumping on the band wagon. I’d love for Sark to stay. It sucks to see Saban have to reload on coaches every season. Seems no one wants to do their own research to find a qualified coach, they just hire whoever is on Saban’s staff.
Pretty much the way the same way journalist do news stories these days. Forget research, I’m just going to duplicate what somebody else has on their website.

The Texas job is not what it used to be.
Very Liberal school...does not represent all Texans, by far.

quote:Nah. I guarantee you that if he turns it down, he heard or saw something at Texas that spooked him. Badly.
If he does, it’s because Saban convinced him to stay as OC with a significant pay raise.

The only reason this would make sense is if Saban plans to retire after this year assuming they win a NC, and they want Sark to stay at Bama.

I agree! And they get to screw Texas in the process. Win, win for everyone.
