I am so tired of hearing this and that about Saban. Yeah, it was hard when I heard him announce he was leaving for the NFL, and it stung a little bit more hearing he was going to Bama. But honestly, I would love to see him return. He saved us from the horror years of Dinardo, gave us a NC, and some great recruiting classes.
I don't think he would lose too much credibility. Sure if he left to go to another school, besides LSU, but if he returned, it would show everyone where he feels he belongs.
And as far as bad PR for LSU. Bad PR is PR - either way our school is still getting attention.

Don't worry, nobody wants Saban as Head coach.

Well, take heart. I am afraid it is pretty much a done deal. Saban will be back at LSU very, very, shortly. His heart is there, that is his home and that, in the end, is what it has come down to, apparently.
