The college football world is officially upside down.

Dear Bama Fans,
WELCOME TO OUR WORLD 3 YEARS AGO, frickERS!!!
Every coaching position available you will wonder if this is the one to lure Nick away from you. Make no mistake about it fellas, he doesnt like T-town and he will be gone before his 4 years are up. I kind of like our stability with Les. Something you wont ever have with Nicky at head coach. Whether it be with assistants or himself. You will never know what is going on and when something happens. You'll be scratching your head instead of your asses when it goes down.
Signed,
LSU Fans of the Saban Era
Rest assured LSU fans, Les Miles will never, NEVER be considered a candidate for another job. For goodness sakes, if Michigan didn't want him, nobody will.
Kind of like Shula.

Note that it said Saban's agent, Jimmy Sexton, contacted WVU.
Think about how many people JS represents.

are people just not reading the stuff under the headline?

The purpose of the agent’s call was to express initial interest in the position and to have WVU athletics put together a compensation package enough to lure Saban from Alabama. This package would not need to be as much as Saban is currently making at Alabama, but enough to not result in a 50% paycut. So, we’re obviously talking more than the $1.9 million former coach Rich Rodriguez was making.

Seriously, I can't believe you guys are buying in to this. If I started a blog stating that Bear had risen from the dead and had a source confirming it would you believe its integrity?
I will bet any amount of money named that Saban does not go to WVU.

As long as he beats Bama, wins SEC championships each year, National titles, and wins against schools like ULM his arse he can stay here as long as he wants.
Funniest thing is, we wont have to put up with Sabans shite each time a coaches job comes available. You will go through this year after year or until he just decides there no way to work with you hillbillies anymore.

Actually the funniest thing was the "Do ya think we might get Saban if Miles leaves for UM?" threads.
Good God people. Your behavior is pretty unmanly.

Sexton has been known to do this. He's trying to get Saban (and himself) more money.
Bama fans will have to get used to Saban's name being mentioned for almost every job opening. As far as him going to WV, I think its very possible. I wouldn't be surprised if he went, but I don't see him going.

No way they can try to get more money out of Alabama

You guys over there STILL can't get over the fact that he didn't rise from the dead on the third day.

I think if he wins a NC at Bama, he's gone. I don't think he'd leave until that happens if he's really the egotistical prick y'all make him out to be.

Actually he did and we're just keeping it a secret.

I don't see it like that. If he wins a NC at Bama he's staying. If he fails to win one, he will feel a ton of heat at Bama (for $4 million he should) and he will jump ship to whoever gives him the best offer.

I guess you and I read him differently. He's a guy that likes to fish and has a great place to retire. How much money does a man need to be happy.
Ton of heat? From who? Finebaum? Jim from Tuscaloosa when he hasn't taken his meds? Barner fans that call into the Finebaum show and act like disaffected Bammers? I don't know any Bama fan that's not happy with the direction the program is taking. Saban might leave, but he's never going to be fired.

You must not know any Bama fans. 6-6 under Shula...let's fire him so we can get Saban.
6-6 under Saban, including a four-game losing streak. That's highly impressive.

Let me guess, it was all Shula's fault right?
Saban is the highest paid coach in college football, if he doesn't win a national championship, yes he will feel some heat. Because Alabama will be filled with Saban's talent, and we all know (according to Bammers) that Saban's talent is so incredible, that it doesn't take much coaching to win.
If LSU, with Saban's recruits, should have won every game by 50+ points, then will Bama fans hold Saban to that same standard when he gets his players at Bama?
