Actually it's just fun to watch the drama out of Tuscaloosa starting. It's been one of my favorite things to read about since that kid asked his dad to borrow the car during a bama game and the dad shot him. I could care less about Saban, but Bama in dissaray....priceless.

Every coaching position available you will wonder if this is the one to lure Nick away from you. Make no mistake about it fellas, he doesnt like T-town and he will be gone before his 4 years are up. I kind of like our stability with Les. Something you wont ever have with Nicky at head coach. Whether it be with assistants or himself. You will never know what is going on and when something happens. You'll be scratching your head instead of your asses when it goes down.

Nick Saban can go work anywhere he wants to. If he thinks he can get a better deal for himself and his family at WVU, then he's a dumbass if he doesn't go. Last time I checked, we don't have a Soviet-style committee that assigns us Americans the jobs we have.
If Saban did leave Bama, I doubt the fan base would have the same "thinly-bred terrier that does nothing but shake and piss on itself" reaction that LSU fans apparently can't get over.

did I really just read that post from a bama fan. Do you not follow history. Bama is the most dillusional school ever. Granted during the Bear days Bama was the school but most bama fans havent let that go. Do you remember when Franchione left, there was quite a bit of uproar over that.

We're over it well enough to enjoy watching our team and our current coach compete for the Crystal Ball in 3 weeks. You, on the other hand, get to wonder if you'll even have a coach after Colorado hands you your asses in lovely, scenic Shreveport.
One common thread I'm noticing in all these "Saban to LSU/West Virginia/Slippery Rock/insert your college here" rumors is how much he dislikes Tuscaloosa. Says a little something about Bama fan, no?

Sure. He never even said goodbye to the players. I remember all Bama fans were very pissed.
But somehow we got over it. I occasionally see some schadenfreudian posts on Bama boards about Fran's situation. But it's not like 20-30% of the posts are about him. Bama got over Franphony pretty quickly with the Price fiasco.

any job that comes up is going to be tied to Nick Saban b/c of his past actions. It doesnt matter whether he is interested or not. These rumors are going to be started at the most inconvenient times. I've lived in the Alabama/Auburn rivalry long enough to know thats how it works.
