No offense. It does seem crazy but money talks.
We almost stole Schembechler (sp?) from Mich but then stole Jackie Sherrill instead giving him the first million dollar contract in coaching.
Bama didn't think we could steal Fran. I wish we hadn't
We have a history of stealing a big name and following it up with "somebody that gets A&M". Sherman "got A&M". Time to steal a coach.
Boise and UGA are on notice :)
Worst case scenario is Sumlin. Who I wouldn't be upset with. He will dominate Houston recruiting

richt is just so set in here and is loved in the community and has a great team coming back. not to mention it is one of the best jobs in america, think SI had us pegged at #5 right behind UF, and i really think any and all talk is just richt trying to beef up his extension
i mean i think it would be great for richt to be hired away if we had time for an actual search and had some solid replacements but otherwise he would really be screwing georgia and i really couldn't see him do that

How ridiculous do you A&M guys sound. No coach is going to jump from a solid SEC East job to a rebuilding SEC West job. In case ya'll haven't noticed, the SEC West has a few decent teams in it. A&M will do good to make a better hire than that Freeze clown that Ole Miss picked up.
